Unna Bakery Swedish Brown Butter Cookies

These award-winning traditional Swedish butter cookies deliver rich, golden flavor with a crisp, crumbly texture and visible almond pieces. Lightly browned butter creates a mild caramel-nutty depth, complemented by honeyed almond notes and vanilla bean aroma, finishing with a lightly salty edge. Inspired by Ulrika Pettersson’s grandmother Rut’s recipes from Östersund, Sweden, they are made for fika—the classic Swedish coffee or tea break.

Crafted with real butter and a short list of high-quality ingredients. Never made with palm oil, soy, or preservatives. Non-GMO and Kosher certified. Lower in sugar and sodium than many comparable cookies.

Ingredients:

Unbleached flour (wheat, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, enzyme, folic acid), butter (sweet cream, lactic acid), cane sugar, syrup, vanilla sugar (granulated sugar, vanilla bean paste) or vanilla (glycerin*, water, extractives of vanilla beans), almonds, baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), white distilled vinegar, sea salt.

*Glycerin is derived from non-GMO rapeseed (where listed).
