Try our take on this rustic stew invented on the fishing boats of San Francisco. It’s farm-fresh tomatoes, garlic, onions, leeks, fennel, herbs, spices, white wine, and a little seafood goodness slow-cooked and jarred-up so all you need to do is add the seafood. And maybe some crusty bread for dipping.
One of our favorite times of the year is the opening of Dungeness crab season in Northern California. We wait all year to buy them fresh off the docks and bring them home to combine with our Cioppino sauce.
