With our original "Life by Chocolate" mix being such a huge hit, we've decided to create a brand new dark chocolate mix that's just as delicious. And don't worry - unlike with many movies, this sequel is no where near a disappointment!
Cacao is filled with dietary fiber, iron, calcium, chromium, zinc, manganese, copper, and potassium. It's one of the highest food sources of magnesium and antioxidants, and also contains significant amounts of vitamin C, PEAs (the chemical our bodies create when we fall in love), and tryptophan (the "feel good" nutrient). Cacao helps support a healthy cardiovascular system and is a great defender against oxidative stress and age-related issues.
Chia seeds are certainly a superfood, as they contain a plethora of nutrients including omega 3's (700 times more than salmon), antioxidants, minerals like calcium, phosphorus, iron, manganese and magnesium, and vitamins such as niacin, riboflavin, thiamin, and folic acid. They're renowned for their stamina and energy-boosting qualities, and are great for digestion as they contain high amounts of fiber.
Bing cherries contain a special group of antioxidants called anthocyanins which are powerful anti-inflammatory agents and oxidative stress fighters - making them very helpful at preventing diseases including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, heart disease, neurological diseases. and cancer. These anthocyanins also give cherries their dark, rich red color.
