Grandpa Lundquist Glogg Spice Mix

Glögg is the classic Scandinavian winter drink. Drinking glogg is great way to warm up on a cold snowy day. Grandpa Lundquist Spices provide just the right mix to easily prepare authentic glogg for families and friends.

This spice mix contains prunes, raisins, citron/orange peel, apricots, almonds and spices. Pour entire contents of mix into a sauce pan. Cover mixture with water and sugar. Simmer for about an hour. Remove from heat and add port wine (or apple or grape juice). Return to heat but do not boil before serving, strain to remove spices.

Glogg is traditionally served warm with a few almonds and raisins in the bottom of each glass to be enjoyed when the drink is done.
