Recipe inspired by Foodie With Family
There is no appetizer more perfect than this simple assembly of crispbread or cracker and goat cheese topped with a big, fresh, juicy blackberry and a drizzle of mild honey.
Ingredients
- 1 package thin crispbreads or other thin crackers
- Goat cheese
- fresh blackberries
- mild honey (Clover or Orange Blossom works well!)
Instructions
- Arrange the crisps on a plate around a bowl of blackberries. Place those on a serving tray or cutting board with a jar of honey and the goat cheese. Be sure to include a honey dipper or spoon for the honey and a spreading knife for the goat cheese.
- Spread a generous amount of goat cheese on the crisp*, top with a blackberry and a drizzle of honey. Enjoy immediately!
Notes
I do not recommend assembling the bites ahead of time because the crisps will soften unpleasantly. If you want to show how they should be made, simply make one and set it on the tray.
