Ruinart Rosé is a prestigious non-vintage brut rosé champagne from Maison Ruinart, the oldest established champagne house founded in 1729. It’s notable as the very first rosé champagne ever created, dating back to 1764. This cuvée embodies the house’s signature style: elegant, aromatic, and fruit-forward, with a focus on Chardonnay-dominant blends.
The wine presents a beautiful pomegranate pink hue with subtle orange shimmers. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of tropical fruits like pomegranate, lychee, and guava, alongside floral notes of rose, red berries (strawberry, cherry, raspberry), and hints of exotic fruits.
On the palate, it’s fresh, focused, and finely knit with high acidity and a satiny mousse. Flavors include macerated raspberry, poached apricot, wild cherry, blood orange, yellow peach, chamomile, and blanched almond, underscored by subtle smoke, toast, crystallized honey, tangerine zest, dried thyme, and gentle spices with a touch of mint.
