All of our products are FREE OF: grain, gluten, soy, corn, and peanuts; all are dairy free except for our Farmhouse Cheddar Crackers. Our products are produced in a peanut-free facility.
Our mixes DO contain tree nuts (almond) and coconut.
We admit it, the instructions for the cookies are a little confusing. There's a picture of 3 eggs but the recipe only calls for one. The correct amount for the cookies is one egg.
In the instructions for the sandwich bread, the bake time reads 1 hour and 15 minutes. Oops, that's a typo. Optimal baking time for the sandwich bread is 35-45 minutes.

The nutrition facts that are listed on the boxes only include the dry mix. Any added ingredients, such as eggs, oil, and other mix-ins may alter the nutritional information.
In place of eggs, we recommend using apple sauce (in muffins, pancakes and cakes only). For each egg, use 1/4 cup applesauce + 1/2 tsp baking powder. You could also try your hand making flax eggs.
**Please note: our mixes turn out best with eggs. Using an egg replacement may slightly change the taste or texture of our mixes.
You most certainly can. Just want to make sure to consider flavor when choosing your oils. Coconut oil, for example, has a slight coconut flavor, so you may only want to use it in one of our sweeter baking mixes. No one wants a coconut-flavored pizza! ...or do they?

In her very own living room in North Carolina, Katlin made the very first Simple Mills muffin mixes one-by-one, using intentional ingredients that made her feel great.
Now based in Chicago, Simple Mills continues the tradition of baking with love. The brick walls, big windows and mini kitchen of our little office are still where our baking innovations come from. Occasionally, however, we’ll stop to laugh at the weird stuff, get excited about accomplishments big and small, or break out the kombucha and have a dance party.

Bobbie grew up in the Northwoods of Wisconsin in Park Falls - the Ruffed Grouse Capital of the World! Although she's been a permanent resident of Chicago for many years, she enjoys going back home to take a breather from the city. Jenna’s fav is the Artisan Bread Mix. We think she likes it so much because it gives her options – bread, rolls, focaccia, flatbread, croutons, bread crumbs, cinnamon rolls… you get the idea. She’s so darn indecisive, and it feels like she doesn’t have to limit her choices with this one. Jenna also says it’s reminiscent of her college days, where she and her bestie would choose where to eat dinner based on the type of bread they were craving.
