Le Gall Demi-Sel French Butter is a premium salted churned butter produced in Finistère, at the western tip of Brittany, France, where cows graze on fresh grass for much of the year due to the mild coastal climate.
This traditional butter is made using a time-honored method that has been perfected over 100 years, involving the slow maturation of selected fresh creams with unique lactic starters derived from partner milk producers, followed by delicate churning in drums to preserve texture and develop intense, aromatic flavors with notes of hazelnut.
The demi-sel (semi-salted) variety contains 2% salt, often crystal sea salt for a subtle crunch and gradual salty diffusion.
Ingredients include cream from pasteurized milk (origin: France), 2% salt, and lactic starters (containing milk), making it 100% natural with no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, or additives.
